Valerie Chic is more than just jewellery, we embrace sustainability and effortlessly chic style.

We design and assemble our jewellery in Munich, Germany (member of the Chamber of Trade and Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria). We blend latest trends with vintage style, tropical beaches with London, Munich, Singapore styles. We use natural materials such as pearls, shells, buffalo horn, which are 100% handmade and chemical-free.

 Modern women not only want to look “chic” but also “unique and confident”.  You love yourself and you feel comfortable in your own skin. 

SUSTAINABLE

Our main materials are from nature such as seashell, mother of pearl, freshwater pearl, buffalo horn (a byproduct of waste). The natural materials are handmade and chemical free.

Zero Waste: Jewellery products are made-to-order and produced in small batches to avoid overstocking. Additionally, we give a second life to vintage jewellery pieces found before 2000.

Our natural material buffalo horn is created by artisans with 400 years craftsmanship in Vietnam

Hi, I'm Vicky, the founder of Valerie Chic Jewellery. For many years I had lived in Vietnam, Singapore and England before moving to my German husband's hometown Munich. Coming from banking, Mergers & Acquisitions background but my passion is always fashion, design and travel.  Since I was a kid, I started making clothes, jewellery and toys.

  In 2019 during my parental leave, after a trip to Long Beach, I created Valerie Chic jewellery, inspired by local traditional craftsmanship using natural materials such as pearls, seashell, buffalo horn.

  By using natural materials, I want to bring in a new trend, eco-friendly jewellery at an affordable price.  At the same time, I can reduce plastic consumption to protect the environment.  With effortlessly chic style, Valerie Chic Jewellery is subtle yet statement that would fit perfectly with a busy lifestyle.


NATURAL MATERIALS & SUSTAINABILITY

PEARLS

Pearls are completely natural. 
It is important for pearl cultivators to be environmentally friendly because the oysters can produce valuable, beautiful pearls if they are healthy.
During the pearl farming process, the oysters are naturally cleaned by fishes that feed their parasites.
The oyster farms offer organic solutions for polluted water to improve the environment.  The water is filtered naturally, nitrogen and other heavy metals are removed.

Empty seashells are collected from the sea

BUFFALO HORN

Buffalo horn is a byproduct of waste as it is left after the buffalo is shed or after the meat process
If there is no use, all the horn parts of the buffalo would be wasted
Artisans collect the horn in order to make many practical products for our everyday life, ranging from utensils and kitchen items to fashion such as jewellery and glasses
The buffalo horn crafting process is also chemical-free
We don't kill the buffalo to get the horn
Each horn has its own shade and pattern
